Rocking Around The Christmas Tree

It is the most festive time of the year! There are parties on every night for work with your significant other, night out with the girls, cookie exchanges with the neighbors, family dinners and just about any other excuse we can come up with to get together and celebrate. If you are anything like me, I am sure you have capped your budget just buying presents for everyone else and now you are looking at your calendar thinking I have to find something to wear! Have no fear, I was at Fifi's last week and pulled some amazing ideas for you. 


Let's start with some of you ladies you may already have a simple dress but just need to spruce a simple black dress or even a sleeveless dress that needs a sweater to go with it. Here are a few options.

I have to just say that I know that I put this look together but I am in love with this jacket by Trina Turk and I have it over a Calvin Klein dress, so it you are looking for the perfect combo this is definitely it. A classic black and white will make a statement. The beauty about this jacket is how versatile it truely is. If you are not looking to purchase the CK dress (though let me just say first hand, the pleating on this dress making it amazing) this jacket would look killer with a red dress too.Not only a red dress but you could take it a totally different direction and wear it with dress and an amazing pair of pumps. The possibilities are truly endless.

What I love about this Coldwater Creek dress is that flow of it. As soon as I saw it on the rack and pulled it,  it just made me more happy about the holidays. This is definitely a center of attention dress. The great thing about this dress is the draping at the waist will make your waist look smaller and you won't need to worry about a sweater or anything bulky because you have the sleeves and a great length.

Let's say you weren't very well behaved at the company party last year and you want to make a better impression this year. This winter white suit is the way to go. Or you have a holiday dinner with your husband's/boyfriend's/SO's boss, this maybe the way you want to go. It is classic. The pearl detailing will make you want to cry. I promise you will make a big impress this Aryn K two-piece suit.

Not all of us need to get really dolled up for our holiday parties, so what you are looking for maybe a bit more on the simple side. This sweater dress by MODA International may just be up for fashion alley. I would suggest some colorful tights (black.. burgundy) boots and a chunky necklace. And you will be ready to go.

The final dress for today, is the deep wine color velvet like dress by BGBG with an embellished belt. It maybe one of my favorite picks. The materials and color just speak winter, this dress is definitely date worthy...and if you don't have a date for the night you just may get a few numbers by the end of the night!
